Moments- 10 I finally had her. After saving up everything I had, for seems like entirely too long, she's mine. Working two dead-end jobs has finally paid off to a bigger picture. I just finished moving everything in—not much, with space being taken into consideration. I didn't need much anyway, was capable of living minimally, which was perfect for the time being. I have just what I need: clothes, food, my favorite beat-up orange velvet couch, and my supplies. I've filled the 70's themed, yellow, duck-covered wallpaper walls with pictures, paintings, lists, and post-it notes and other scraps of paper filled with reminders (To-do. Groceries. Moments- 8 I visited the old YMCA building today, met a man who was kind enough to give me a tour of the whole thing. My, how time changes things. What was once a beautiful, grandiose brick structure is now a dilapidated, decrepit shell- was once so full of life- teeming, bustling, singing, laughing…all gone now forever.
Each room was packed with things- things from someone's entire lifetime now long forgotten: mirrors, costumes, clothes, old light fixtures, furniture, Christmas decorations, family photos, stuffed animals, bicycles, candy dispensers…all covered in a layer of haze that served as yet another reminder that no one is herMoments- 8 by ~schmeefer

Moments-7 Her limbs had become a part of the washed out floral pattern embroidered into the pale, brown couch…(I need an asprin.) Listless, barely breathing, television humming, stale air, flys buzzing, birds chirping, cars whizzing past…she hadn't moved all day- What happened last night? This is where her life was currently: a sheer nothingness- no desire, no interest, no motivation, a brooding frustration for the simple things that somehow managed to cause immense rifts throughout her life…tears began to well in her eyes (blink them away), she swallowed, (this is ridiculous.) the phone rang, the grocery list got longer, the piles oMoments-7 by ~schmeefer

Ugh, it's been awhile!

Two more finals and then I GRADUATE FROM COLLEGE!! Ahhh...Holy shit.

Things have been crazy, busy, awesome, stressful, and confusing for a plethora of reasons.

I'm leaving for Washington State to be a nanny again for awhile, and I couldn't welcome the break more. I need a little time to myself, time to draw, time to hike mountains, and read some books.

I also need time to figure out what the hell to do with myself after graduation. The options are endless, and I'm feeling a little overwhelmed.

I'm doing a studio cleanout before I move in the next year and have some artwork for sale for the LOW LOW!
